Standardized repair organization of feeding heifers

Dairy cattle breeding is the most important livestock sector, which largely determines economic efficiency in agriculture and production. In recent years, in connection with the transition to market relations in cattle breeding, as in all agriculture, there have been significant changes. A sharp jump in prices for industrial and agricultural products, a reduction in the level of forage and other factors, led to a crisis in the dairy industry and other sectors of livestock farming. This led to a significant reduction in the number of cattle and a reduction in the level of milk production. In the current situation, the economy applies the necessary measures to increase the production of livestock products with a minimum labor, feed and means. There are great opportunities for this. It is necessary to use the achievements of science, technology and advanced production experience. Livestock production is a biotechnology that represents a system where the animal occupies a major place. Without systematic implementation of the achievements of zootechnical and veterinary sciences, the correct organization of feeding, maintenance and care, the application of progressive forms of work organization – it is impossible to disclose the genetic potential of animals. The main direction in the development of dairy cattle is its intensification. The effectiveness of intensification is to realize the following ways of development:

- Complete implementation and increase of genetic potential of dairy cattle.

- Biologically complete nutrition of animals.

- Preparation in sufficient quantity of quality feed.

- Implementation of sound technologies.

The main advantage of Western technology feeds is the additional grinding of voluminous feeds to the length of the stems 0.3 to 0.5 mm and the use of free access to the feeding table on which the forage, which includes the ivy grain corn, as well as additional feeding of concentrates under milking time. Consequently, the concentrated type of feeding of cows has its own positive, but at the same time a disadvantage, especially in the feeding of repair heifers.
