Abstract

In the paper on the basis of statistical data for the last 12–17 years there is studied the structure and features of specialization of agricultural production in the context of administrative regions of Lviv region. The main crops in the region are cereals, potatoes and forage crops. The production of cereals and forage crops is quite diversified; potato production is concentrated in Kamenka-Busk area, fruits and berries in the Gorodok district. Significantly reduced volumes of beef production capacity, increased production of poultry meat and pork. The latter's production is concentrated in the Stryj district. About half of regional production of beef and veal on the part of agricultural enterprises belongs to Zhydachiv district. Brody and Sokal districts are characterized by milk specialization. There is a steady increase in the volume of production crop mainly due to higher yields, especially corn and potato yields, which significantly increased. Fruit yields are characterized by significant variability.
