RED POLISH LACTATION PERFORMANCE DEPENDENCE ON THEIR REPRODUCTIVE ABILITY INDICES
Red Polish cows were under conducted researches. It was established that milk yield was within 2838,4–3698,4 kg, milk fat content – within 3,70–3,73 % and milk fat quantity – within 107.9–138.6 kg depending on the lactation. It should be noted the rise of yield and milk fat quantity with each subsequent lactation. Experimental animals’ age of the first productive insemination and the first calving were respectively 534.4 days or 17.6 months and 817.5 days or 26.9 months, and the duration of service–period and intercalving period was within 92,4–94,4 and 375,2–378,6 days respectively.
It was discovered the lactation performance dependence on cows’ reproductive ability. Not to exceed 16 months of the first insemination and – 25 months of the fist calving experimental animals had the highest milk yield and milk fat and the duration of service–period and intercalving period was within 81–100 days and 361–380 days respectively.
