THE UKRAINIAN BLACK-AND-WHITE MILK YIELD OF DIFFERENT LINES OF BREED
Abstract
There was studied the milk productivity of different lines'cows of Ukrainian Black-and-white dairy breeds. It was found out that Starbuck cows had the highest yields and the number of milk fat after the first, second and best lactation line, Annas Adem cows had the highest indices after the third one and the the Astronaut line cows had the lowest indices. The Athlete line cows achieved the highest yield, and Starbuckthe line cows had lowest. The proportion of cows' impact on their yield depended on lactation, was within 27,08–42,18, the fat content in milk – within 6,96–12,03, the number of milk fat – within 31,21–44,31 and the average age of achieving the highest yields – 9,53%.
