Abstract

Today the agricultural sector is one of the largest and most important sectors of Ukraine's economy, because it is formed the bulk of food resources and almost three-quarters of the retail trade. In addition, agroindustrial enterprises that make significant contributions to the industry and the economy as a whole, the agricultural sector of Ukraine is also one of the most important elements of the economic systems of most countries with market economies. Over the past three years, Ukraine finally consolidated its status of world leader in the production and export of agricultural products. As recognized experts, there is still great potential. However, one of the most important achievements of the past few years has been winning food market of the European Union. Following the Ukrainian grain in the European market on the shelves of European supermarkets there are foods labeled «Made in Ukraine». Europe is interested in our products, but this has its own inherent «rules». Problems of international economic integration are closely linked to international trade, which is an integral part of world globalization, because it can significantly influence the geographical and commodity structure of exports and imports. Due to the growing openness of markets there are new requirements to the quality of goods and services of domestic producers, especially producers of agricultural products. The development of export potential of agricultural products is the key to overall economic growth, which implies, in particular, the staff development and qualitative change in the marketing system. Ukraine needs at least 2–3 years of hard work to get access to the European market for all types of agricultural products. And that hard work involves both taking the necessary legislation and, above all, improving existing business practices.
