Abstract

The article studies the situation of livestock farms in the Lviv region for 2000-2014 biennium. This attention is focused both on the general aspects of the livestock sectors and the specific characteristics of their operation. The results of research give reason to believe that farming as a form of agricultural production is not yet fully realized their potential development. In modern terms the Lviv region particularly clearly manifested in resources farms (Table. 1), livestock production (Table. 2) and its implementation (Table. 3) and the level of efficiency of the industry (tab. 4). Although in recent years farming Lviv and has made some progress in its development, but already in the current conditions and especially for the future should develop specific measures to improve the performance of livestock development in the form of agrarian management.
