Abstract

The article examines the principles of the vector model of indicators for use in computer-guided planning system of the region, developed by the author. This system provides interface for the use of sustainable development indicators developed for theLviv Region Development Strategy. The article suggests to render measurements of dynamics in each index of sustainable development (in the dimensions «Society», «Nature», «Economics») on a three-dimensional coordinate system using the 4^th sustainable development index («Quality of the strategy») as a leading program and a key containing presets of compliance and technology for reaching the goals of territorial development. We describe a simplified linear model with initial coordinates in (0, 0, 0) and morecomplex nonlinear model with nonzero initial coordinates. The authors also clarify how to display the dynamics of indices in both models.
