Abstract

Meals for athletes is different from the power of ordinary people for several reasons. First, active sports require much more energy than office work or production. Secondly, heavy loads and are very specific requirements for the functionality of an athlete require a special approach to the composition of the diet.

Rationalization of power athletes requires addressing issues such as nutrition at different stages of the annual cycle of training and competition. Compliance the creation of certain diets can be achieved in the presence of specific biochemical and physiological data on the metabolism and the body condition of athletes when performing physical work of different duration and intensity, taking into account factors such as neuro-emotional stress, climatic and geographical conditions of the place of training and competitions, anthropometric and other individual characteristics of the athletes. Existing recommendations on nutrition for athletes, diets for persons engaged in the various sports that do not meet these requirements in full, as they usually take into account the gross figures cost of energy, demand for basic essential food factors, which are averages for the entire annual cycle of training and competition.
