Regularities of the quantitative dynamics of tissue components of the lymph nodes in meat-producing rabbits

Abstract

The aim of the work was to determine the patterns of age dynamics of the relative area of stroma, the components of the lymphoid parenchyma and the system of the internal nodal lymphatic channel of some somatic and visceral lymph nodes of meat-producing rabbits. The complex analysis of histoarchitectonics of lymph nodes at different stages of postnatal ontogenesis has been carried out. It is submitted, the results of the complex researching of the structural and functional features of the somatic (popliteal, submandibular) and visceral (mesenteric and mediastinum) lymph nodes from 1 to 90 days of age are presented. The morphometric indices of the quantitative dynamics of tissue components (stromal apparatus, functional zones of parenchyma and sinus systems) with features of their ratio within the functional segments are presented. It is found that at structural and functional level of the organization, all without exception, lymph nodes of rabbits are represented by of the compartments, each of which consists of lymph nodes and adjacent areas of parenchyma, of medullary cords that extends into the depth of the brain substance and developed system of sinuses. The conducted studies have established that the relative area of the lymphoid parenchyma prevails in the lymph nodes, the most developed structural and functional zones of which are the units of deep cortex and medullary cords. It is determined that at the moment of birth in rabbits, lymph nodes are represented by an accumulation of lymphoid tissue and stroma. With the increase in the age of animals in the lymph nodes, the amount of connective tissue increases, the capsule and trabeculae they thickness. At the same time, in the nodes, the amount of cortical substance decreases and the of medullary substance increases. Found that the active formation of lymph nodes begins with 20 days of age, and the final zonal differentiation of lymph nodes in rabbits is achieved after the 30th day. The quantitative age dynamics of parenchyma in the late stages of ontogenesis over 90 days is determined by the predominanse of the development of secondary lymphatic nodules, especially in visceral lymph nodes, which have a multilevel character of the location, and are located on the side surfaces in units deep cortex, at their poles, as well as in the deep layers of parenchyma. Lymph medullary sinus are wide, and they occupy a larger area than subcapsular and intermediate, both in somatic and in visceral lymphatic nodes, regardless of the age of the animals.
