BIOMORPHOLOGY OF THE SKULL OF THE RACCOON DOG

Abstract

In the work described in detail the structure of the skull raccoon dog, and held his morphometric analyzes craniological. As a result of researches the structural features of the skull raccoon dog, and the fact that the length of the bone sky is actually half of the total length of the skull, and taking into account the structural features of the palate bone can conclude about the features in the structure of the dental system, which is typical for different types of food. Brainstorming is practically equal to the personal department. The total length of the lower jaw only 10 % less than the total length of the skull, and the length of the sagittal crest is 40,7 % of the total length of the skull, despite the fact that he sagittal crest is weak. Maximum width of the skull at the level of the zygomatic arch.
