CONTENT OF CHOLESTEROL IN BLOOD SERUM OF PIGS WITH DIFFERENT TYPES OF HIGHER NERVOUS ACTIVITY
Abstract
It is shown the content of cholesterol in blood serum of pigs of different types of higher nervous activity. Indicators of cortical processes in pigs of different types of higher nervous activity are significantly different. Thus, the highest overall assessment of strength, balance and mobility of cortical processes is in representatives of strong balanced mobile type – 11,40 ± 0,87 s.u., which is in 26,3 % (p <0.05), 43,86 % (p <0.01), 73,68 % (p <0.001) higher than animals of strong balanced inert, strong unbalanced and weak types respectively. Significant difference was found by cholesterol level in animals of different types of higher nervous activity, particularly in animals of strong balanced mobile type the content of total cholesterol was higher by 7,64 % (p <0.05) and 14,55 % (p <0.001) compared to indicators in animals of strong unbalanced and weak type of higher nervous activity. Established a direct correlation between cholesterol content in blood serum and three major features of cortical processes.
