HYGIENE AND TECHNOLOGICAL SUPPORT TO THE FARM – BASIS OF PREVENTION OF DISEASES AND HIGH PRODUCTIVITY OF ANIMALS

Abstract

Annotation. In the article the importance of hygiene, sanitary and technological factors in ensuring the prevention of diseases of calves and cows, increasing their resistance and productivity. Purpose – to draw attention zoovetspetsialistov, maintenance personnel to ensure climate, sanitary regime, aimed at preserving productive longevity and health of the adult population and young calves. The object was solved by analytical, clinical, biochemical, microbiological, sanitary, hygienic and statistical methods. The attention of specialists in the treatment and animal disease prevention measures without massive use of drugs. It was shown that the share of non–communicable diseases in cattle breeding in Ukraine accounts for 85–90% of cases, in Russia – 60–90%. Factors contributing to the manifestation of disease and decline in dairy cow productivity and growth depression in young – this failure to comply with the rules and modes of feeding and watering the animals, the optimal parameters of the microclimate in the premises, the principle of «all empty – all busy», a low level of qualification of the staff. As a result, 50–70% of the pathologies to the delivery and the first 2–3 months of lactation. Among the identified pathologies prevalent in 29% of ketoses and atony proventriculus, 18% – diseases of extremities, 16.3% – obstetrics and gynecology, at 12.8% – mastitis, calves – bronchitis, diarrhea, rickets. In the area of activity of the enterprises environment contaminated waste by–products of animal and premature culling of cows is 25–30%.
